Ahhhh The Great Bristish Summer!!!!

Quick!!, before it rains!!!

Nigels Dog Smells

A bit quieter at this Friday’s breakfast club than usual without Sharon – our delightful Deputy Chairman – normally gracing the top table – apparently celebrating her birthday in some far flung place – maybe Bognor, Crewe or Formby wherever – we wait with bated breath to hear – which we no doubt will on her return as to her true birthday bash location and maybe the extent of her birthday years!!

Whilst anticipating my recently won prize (Chablis Cuvee Claude Dominique - chilling as we speak) I reflect on yet another successful and enjoyable early morning. Like-minded (bloody minded in some cases) individuals, all MBBC members, met at 6.55am for another lively, sometimes irreverent but ultimately useful networking session.

Correction to contractual obligation blog #3

Had I typed "Missing DOG breeder£ the MEN headline would have made much more sense!

Contractual obligation blog #3

I can't keep up with this - two weeks' wine on the run and another contractual obligation blog!

If anyone wants to see my blog about tax, go to http://www.sbncanews.com which is where all my technical tax stuff and comment on government tax policy etc. goes. I have made a vow not to blog about tax in my contractual obligation blogs, though. Thought you might be pleased to hear that.

Contractual obligation blog #2

I won the wine again last Friday, which is ideal for a teetotaller (of fairly recent vintage, for all those tempted to say "oh no you're not!"). So again I find myself blogging, although noone else who wins the wine seems to bother. Perhaps I will start a trend.

Who would like to be paid for generating their own energy??

In April 2010 the Feed In Tariffs are introduced.

Feed-in Tariffs (FITs) are financial support measures introduced by the government to increase the uptake of small-scale renewable generation (<5MWe) and help deliver the UK’s 2020 renewable energy targets. The mechanism provides renewable generators with a 20 year (or 25 years for Solar PV) guaranteed per unit support payments (p/kWh) for electricity generation.

By installing solar pv panels on your property you could earn £0.41 for every Kwh produced for 25 years.

"Baby Its Cold Outside ......!!"

Winter won't stop us!

Despite some of our staff having to travel from West Yorkshire to get to work By Request has made it in every day which meant we were able to help a customer in distress.

A little Thanks Goes a Long Way

Hi Carl,
