Be Safe Not Sorry

It would be unusual for a standard home buyers survey to include much detail on the condition of wiring, though discovering after purchase there are issues can have far reaching consequences for the unwary, whist for a vendor discovery by a surveyor of possible electrical issues can often scupper a sale.

We have often been called to undertake remedial works to newly bought properties, where new switches and sockets have been fitted as part of "a refurbishment" to existing defective wiring which should have been replaced during works.

Any report should be undertaken by a competent contractor such as those registered with the NICEIC and paperwork provided.

We of course can help, should you require any further information please don’t hesitate in contacting us at  [email protected] or ring 01612888664
