For he's a jolly good 'Fellow'
We are delighted to announce that Mark Hayward from Sway Communications has been recognised as a Fellow (FCIM) of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in recognition of his contribution to the marketing industry.
A Fellowship to the CIM is awarded to marketeers who have worked in a senior marketing director or consultants role at board level for over 10 years, and is a recognition of their contribution to the industry.
Having completed a degree from Exeter University in Public Relations and Sports Science & Coaching, Mark quickly set up his first agency, 1090 Communications, which after three years won awards for PR in the northwest and also saw him nominated for Young Communicator of the Year. Having been recognised as one of the top six agencies in the northwest, Mark and his business partner sold 1090 communications, before setting up his new agency Sway.
Having worked with start-ups to some of the most recognised consumer brands in the UK, Mark’s experience in senior strategic roles was a key factor in receiving the recognition from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Always wanting to deliver the best value for clients Mark has always been forward thinking, adopting new technologies and systems including VR content creation, Mark plans to continue his association with the CIM to add Chartered status over the coming years.
Now the owner and founder of Sway Communications, Mark continues to work with consumer clients to build their reputation and visibility in media around the world. Specialising in travel, brands with a British heritage, sport and active lifestyle brands and consumer focused clients, Sway has continued to deliver public relations campaigns that make a difference.
Congratulations Mark
