Do you give away free information and advice? If not, then why not?
I am passionate about helping people and if I can offer free advice I will, because it's who I am. So why am I mentioning this?
I was introduced to a contact in the recruitment industry around 10 months ago. She wanted some help with her LinkedIn profile and future social media strategy. At the time she was not sure if she needed my training but just wanted to ask a few questions. I assisted her and then we left it at that.
I had a call last week and guess what? It was the same person, she remembered how I helped her and said this always stayed in her mind. I am therefore delighted to say that she has booked me for LinkedIn training.
You just never know do you! People never forget and remember don't dismiss those who are not ready and able to pay for your services...just one day they might!
