After Adoption Fashion Fundraiser

On Wednesday 12th March over 70 women attended our Style event at Manchester city centre’s Abode Hotel.  They had a delicious 3 course meal and were inspired to find their new style for Spring/Summer by Jen McKenna from Heaton Moor’s Moo Boutique.  The event raised a fantastic £2,400 for the UK’s largest adoption charity.

The guests enjoyed welcome drinks and a three course meal courtesy of high profile chef Michael Caines’ team of chefs at ABode, and went home with goody bags including items from Elemis, Eat Natural, Hatters Promotional Merchandise and Melbourne Server Hosting, as well as a loyalty card for Moo Boutique.  Some fantastic experience prizes were donated for the prize draw, including a pampering, dinner and theatre prize from the combined forces of Spa Satori, Per Tutti restaurant and the Royal Exchange theatre, all Manchester city centre supporters.

After Adoption chief executive, Lynn Charlton, was at the event. She concluded: “Fundraising plays a huge part in our organisation, enabling us to deliver support programmes to adopted children and young people. This event has been a great success, and we were pleased to welcome women from the North West region to help make a difference to the young people we work with.”
