Prima Cura Training is offering an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

This accredited and nationally recognised one-day course will teach you how to respond if a relative, friend, or complete stranger becomes unconscious, suffers cardiac arrest, is choking, or bleeding. You can book here.

The course will cover:

• The ability to act safely and effectively when an accident or emergency occurs
• Treatment and priorities of care for an unconscious patient
• Recognition and treatment of a person in seizure
• Recognition of cardiac arrest and delivery of Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Use of Defibrillators (AED)
• The ability to recognise and safely treat a patient who is choking
• The ability to safely and promptly treat a patient who is bleeding
• The ability to treat a patient safely and promptly with burns
• Serious Medical Conditions (seizures, diabetes, heart attack anaphylaxis etc)
• The keeping records following an accident at work.

This course meets regulatory requirements for Health & safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is sufficient for all types of workplaces/organisations, including SIA liscences.
